You can find all the different parts of your organisation, and their individual settings, in your organisation tree. To get to the organisation tree, click on Admin - Organisation.
Here you can see an overview of your organisations.
The main organisation
The main organisation will always be at the top of your tree. You can choose the settings you make here if they are to be inherited downwards to the subdivisions you have entered. The main organisation can never be removed.
Sub-organisations/sub-departments
To divide your organisation into different parts, e.g. for different departments that should have different settings, it is a good idea to have sub-organizations in your organisation tree. You can create and organise these however you want, and you can create sub-organizations in several levels. You can see that an organisational part has subdivisions by the fact that there is an arrow to the left of the name. If you click on that arrow, all subdivisions linked to that organisational part will be opened to be seen.
Good to think about! The majority of the settings you choose should be inherited from the main organisation, contact templates, events, etc., but since you have the option of having separate settings for each sub-organization, these can differ. Therefore, it is good if only a few users get access to edit your organisations.
Administration
From the view of the organisation tree, you have the opportunity to do a couple of different things, in addition to getting an overview of your organisation.
Show basic information about the workplace as well as contact information on the organisation section. You can access this through the eye icon on the right.
Edit your organisation's settings. Here are the majority of the settings that shape the daily work you do in Talent Hire. You can access them by pressing the pen icon on the far right.
Delete an organisation. Here you can delete entire sub-organizations, you do that by pressing the trash can symbol.
If you see an information symbol instead of a trash can, this means that the organisation cannot be deleted. if you press the icon, you will see what is preventing you from deleting the organisation.
Tip! If you don't want to go in and correct everything needed to be able to delete an organisation, you can solve it by creating a sub-organisation called e.g. "Inactive" and place all the organisations you wanted to remove there. They won't disappear then but you can hide them by not having all sub-organisations unfolded.
Create an organisation
From this view, you can also create new organisations, then you simply press the "Create organisation" button in the top right corner.
The first thing you have to fill in is information about the workplace, such as the name of the new organisation and where in the organisation tree you want to place it
The new organisation will automatically be set to inherit information, where applicable, from the organisation branch above.
